Service is a big part of being a Christian Disciple, and North Hills tries to be very active in communities around us.
Outreach
We have already provided casseroles this month to 6-4-3 WARM: Ferguson Warming Center.

We support and volunteer at St. Stephen’s Food Pantry in Ferguson.

When students are on campus, we have members bringing a Christian presence to Florissant Valley Community College.

We make and donate blankets to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital
Special Events
We also strive to be a part of the community in our neighborhood by sponsoring annual community Easter Egg Hunts, Backpack Blessings, and Trunk-or-Treat events. At many of these events we also offer a community meal and an opportunity to worship. This year we participated in Ferguson’s Drive-Thru Spooktacular and handed out over 500 bags of candy to kids. (And a few parents too!)
Community Garden

Hope Hill
Our most visible ministry to the community is the Community Gardens of Hope Hill, a partnership project with Gateway Greening and Whole Foods. For more about the garden look here.
